What Sets Us Apart

At Empowered Futures, we believe in providing accessible counseling that focuses on empowerment and growth. Our founder previously served as a school counselor and was driven by the goal of helping disenfranchised students access career and college opportunities. She continued her education, earning a counseling license and a doctorate degree in counselor education. Through her career experiences and research, she found that there is a lifetime of personal and systemic obstacles that can prevent individuals from achieving their goals.

We believe that career satisfaction goes hand in hand with overall wellness and life satisfaction, and we're dedicated to helping all our clients reach their full potential. That’s why our services extend beyond traditional career counseling; our approach is holistic and incorporates mental health and wellness. High School Annual Package

Once you have completed your applications, we will review all of your application materials (ie. personal statement, supplemental essays, portfolio statements) and provide up to 5 rounds of written feedback. Service starting @ $300 Contact us for a free consultation and custom pricing.

Once you have selected the college(s) you are applying to, you should begin drafting your college essay. We are here to help you with topic planning, outlining, essay development, and editing. Beginning in 8th grade, students are asked to choose courses and extracurricular activities that aim to help them explore their interests and move them closer to achieving their post-secondary goals. We offer quarterly 1:1 sessions over the course of 4 years to help you with course selection, extracurricular selection, self and career exploration, and individualized goal setting.
